Privacy

This site collects what you type into the quotation form, and — only if you agree to it — a count of which pages you read, recorded against a truncated IP address. There is no advertising pixel, no third-party script and no tracking cookie.

Who is responsible

The controller is ACTREG S.A.U., Carrer de l'Energia 15-25, naves 1-2, Pol. Ind. Barnasud, 08850 Gavá, Spain, tax number ESA58956517. Write to actreg@actreg.com about anything on this page.

What is collected

From the quotation form: your name, company, email address, and optionally a telephone number, country and the valve and process details you choose to share. Nothing on the form is collected that you did not type.

From the server: ordinary web server logs, and the sending address of a form submission, counted for a short period so the form cannot be used to flood the sales inbox. The submission itself is logged by its reference, not its contents.

With your consent, and only then: which pages you open, your browser and operating system, your window width, your browser’s main language, the site you arrived from, and your IP address with the final part removed. The full address is never stored. Refusing means none of it is collected, and the detail is in the cookie notice.

Why, and on what basis

To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. The basis is article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR where a contract is in prospect, and article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest, for responding to a commercial request you initiated and for keeping the form usable.

Nothing you send is used for marketing unless you ask to be contacted that way, and consent given that way can be withdrawn at any time.

Audience measurement rests on a different basis: your consent, article 6(1)(a). It is asked for before anything is collected, refusing costs you nothing, and withdrawing it deletes what was already recorded.

Who sees it

The ACTREG sales and engineering staff handling your enquiry, and the regional office covering your territory. Enquiry data is not sold, and it is not passed to anyone for their own purposes.

Form submissions reach ACTREG through the company’s own enquiry handling system, which acts as a processor under a written agreement. No third-party advertising or analytics provider receives anything.

Where it goes

ACTREG operates from 5 sites, 4 of them outside the European Economic Area: Kettering in United Kingdom, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue in Canada, Sorocaba in Brazil and Shanghai in China. If your enquiry belongs to one of those territories it is passed to that office, which is a transfer outside the EEA. Group transfers are made under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long it is kept

Quotation correspondence is kept for as long as the commercial relationship or a legal obligation requires, and deleted after that. The rate-limiting count against an address is held in memory for minutes and is not written to disk.

Audience measurements are deleted 14 months after they are recorded, or immediately if you withdraw your consent.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 you can ask for a copy of what ACTREG holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, deleted or restricted, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to actreg@actreg.com or to ACTREG S.A.U. at the address above.

If you are not satisfied with the response you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at aepd.es, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
